Your Lessons

  “Learning the way that suits you"

 

The lesson format is usually a 30 minute or 1 hour session taking place in one of my teaching venues or online via Skype or Zoom.

​

I always try to focus on what suits you, the pupil, and in many ways you can direct the learning as much as I do. Whilst there are many important techniques to master whatever the style of music you choose to learn, the pieces we study can be completely tailored to your own tastes.

Should you wish to study Grades I have a 100% pass rate with most students getting merits or distinctions. I have tutored many pupils to grade 8 and beyond.

 

My tutoring includes:

 

  • Electric or acoustic guitar

  • All contemporary styles including rock, pop, blues, folk, etc

  • Reading charts and musical directions

  • Basic to advanced guitar techniques

  • Theory, harmony and ear training for guitar

  • Composition & Song Construction

  • Band/performance skills and mentoring

  • London College of Music RGT Exams (Or other boards if preferred)
